We are all human first

Raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, my development is rooted in diversity. I draw upon the multicultural exposure and service-based experiences during that development, as well as those during my studies and continued education and training, to facilitate growth and healing. I am a (whole) person-centered Integrative Psychotherapist, extensively trained to provide dynamic and holistic therapy to individuals, families, and groups, customized to meet the needs of each client.

I bring to the mental health field a decade of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. My early clinical work has been in New York City schools across each borough, representing community based organizations, as well as in public health services in the Bronx. My work and studies have afforded me the privilege to apply my clinical practices abroad, integrating art therapy within the hospital setting in Buenos Aires, as well as learning innovative therapeutic treatments and understandings at NYU London’s community of Autism awareness.

I utilize multidisciplinary therapeutic modalities, founded in my undergraduate work at UCLA, and refined during my studies at NYU, where I earned a Master’s in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness. I have honed my specialization in working with trauma, gaining further skills as an EMDR Specialist, completing training in Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy from the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy, and continued education in EMDR as a Psychotherapy, training with The Center for Excellence in EMDR Therapy. I strongly believe in the mind-body-soul integration, honoring the whole person through a holistic perspective.

Most recently, I have been immersing my curiosities and training in the resurgence of psychedelic medicine, tracing back to centuries-old healing modalities, and have completed training from the Integrative Psychiatry Institute, as a Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy Provider (PATP). This is a personal and professional passion that I hold and approach with integrity and respect for its indigenous roots, as well as the sensitivity of both its risk and research, in continuing to explore creative and visceral ways of healing, merging the ‘old’ with the ‘new.’

Nature, in general, resonates deeply with me. I love the water and am an avid hiker, reintroducing myself with the Pacific Coast, based in the Bay Area, exploring California’s endless forests and mountains. Music is also a major part of my life, having had a professional background as a singer. In the healing arts, I am curious about weaving the appreciation of nature and creativity into the ways that I approach clients, collaboratively curating a customized approach that fits accordingly.
